Received his Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton Massachusetts. He is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Supervising Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) and a Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) in Clinical Social Work. He has an undergraduate degree from Boston College where he majored in elementary and special education. Ed has additional post graduate training in cognitive behavioral therapy through the Cleveland Center for Cognitive Therapy.
Ed has over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in a variety of settings. For the past 15 years, he worked at the Cleveland Clinic Section of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
His practice includes individual and family therapy approaches to help children and adolescents with relationship and/or behavioral difficulties. His areas of specialization include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders, Anxiety and Mood Disorders, and conflictual family relations. In the spirit of “it takes a village,” Ed endorses multimodal treatment, which includes other professionals and parents as an integral part of treatment.
