Eilene S. Golub

Earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ursuline College and a Masters of Human Services and Counseling from John Carroll University. She is licensed by the State of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, (LPCC), with Supervisory status, by the State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as an Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC), with Supervisory status, and by the State of Ohio as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).

Eilene has practiced in the behavior health field for more than 20 years. In addition to private practice, she has worked in residential treatment, chemical dependency facilities, trauma centers, crisis intervention stress debriefing settings, alternative education programs, assessment and treatment planning in the Cleveland School System, Crisis Intervention Coordinator for major hospitals, Couples Therapy and Career Counseling. She has worked closely with the Municipal Court systems to provide Drug and Alcohol Assessments as well as Mental Health Assessments.

Eilene has had extensive experience working with a wide range of adolescents and children. She has a vast knowledge of Reactive Attachment Disorder, family issues, sexual abuse, psychic trauma, severe emotional and behavior diagnoses, PDD, ADHD, ODD and Conduct Disorders. She has been certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy and utilizes guided imagery to aid in working with anxiety disorders, test anxiety, and stress management. Her work focuses on cognitive restructuring, rational emotive and reality therapy approaches.
