President and founder of the Child & Family Counseling Center of Westlake. She is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a Master's of Science in Social Administration (MSSA). Her Graduate work specialization is in the field of child, youth and families. She is licensed by the state of Ohio as a Licensed Independent Social Worker.
She has 15 years of combined experience working in the areas of foster care, child and adolescent mental health, and acute child/adolescent psychiatric care. Lisa has worked as Director of a community mental health program, Director of a child/adolescent acute psychiatric service line, and a child, adolescent and family therapist.
Her practice with children and adolescents has included work with a variety of problems and disorders such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, self-harming behaviors, and attachment disorder. She has extensive training and experience in the area of adolescent sexual offending, sexually reactive children, and child/adolescent victimization. Her therapeutic approach is Behavioral, Cognitive Behavioral, and Structural Family Therapy.
